This opportunity is to manage and work with members of Contracts Team within the Electronic Attack Solutions (EAS) Product Line within the Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area for the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector.

This Contracts Manager role will provide an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment managing some of your own contracts as well as managing other Contract professionals who are actively supporting numerous contracts and multiple millions of dollars of ongoing proposal activity.

This role involves interfacing with all levels of management and functions (Program Office, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.) within BAE Systems as well as with our USAF Customer and some commercial customers.
As the Contracts Manager, you will work with internal team members and our customers to shape and close business opportunities in concert with internal objectives for the EAS Product Line.
Daily responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Management of personnel, their workloads and their development plans for future growth.
Consistently work on and provide guidance on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ability to interact with the team to gather, interpret, analyze, and develop recommended strategies and present information.
Compliance with Company policies and procedures, legal, regulatory and customer requirements.
Prepare, negotiate, and manage complex proposals and contracts.
Provide guidance to Program, Subcontracts, Engineering, and Operation teams on government and commercial contracting methods for military equipment while protecting our Intellectual Property rights.
Cross functional collaboration with Program Management, Finance, Operations, Quality and Export teams.

This position requires an extensive knowledge of government contracting methods, applicable laws and regulations and the ability to develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers, especially in challenging and sometimes demanding situations.

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Location: This position is located in Hudson, NH.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of related contracts experience or equivalent experience in DoD contracting.
US Citizen with Existing Secret Clearance and be capable of upgrading to Top Secret/SCI.
Strong team players who enjoy working with program management and other functional disciplines in a supportive and complementary manner.
Strong hands-on knowledge of, and experience with, FAR, DFAR, and export regulations.
Strong knowledge of intellectual property and policies.
Proven ability to lead and close complex negotiations requiring Current Cost or Pricing Data and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (formerly TINA) certification.
Experience with agreements to support business development, program management and engineering development teams (ex.

NDAs, bailment agreements, etc.).
Experience dealing with the US Government and major industry defense & electronics companies, as your customer.
Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position as well has having the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience managing a team.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with the complex RFP's, and large proposal development.
Experience with various USG agencies (especially the US Air Force).
Possess a Hungry, Humble, and Smart attitude

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
