**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Building Automation Systems Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring and programming software and hardware for DOC Building Automation Systems.

**What you’ll do:**

+ Collaborate with the engineering team on the system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming, and sequences of operations.
+ Configures the graphics, database, network, and integrations.
+ Develops programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for DOC control systems.
+ Maintains accurate and thorough project documentation and redlines.
+ Records and communicates deviations to the project team.
+ Executes system functional testing and commissioning.
+ Executes systems upgrades and BAS maintenance on exiting accounts.
+ Provides owner trainings required by the project.
+ Provide high quality customer service and in line with operational processes.
+ Capable of pulling wires as needed

**What you’ll need to be successful:**

+ Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
+ Thorough understanding of testing, validation and troubleshooting of large and complex controls systems.
+ Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and common controls sequences along with fundamental control theory and logic.
+ Excellent writing and computer skills with proficient knowledge of MSOffice applications.
+ Ability to maintain diplomacy and professionalism while engaged in high pressure situations.
+ Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
+ Thorough understanding of building automation and mechanical systems.
+ Ability to write programming for automation systems
+ Understanding of I/T networks and networked systems.
+ Ability to integrate systems on different platforms.
+ Effective communicator.

**What you bring to the table:**

+ Niagara N4 certification and experience required
+ JCI, Honeywell, and/or Trane controller experience helpful but not required for consideration
