Controls/Electrical Engineer (Embedded Systems)
$95,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + Medical + Dental + Vision + Life + 401(k)
Austin, TX (Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite)

Are you an Electrical Engineer with embedded systems experience, seeking a role where you can act as the expert across both the hardware and software domains?

Incredible opportunity for someone eager to enter a growing industry, serve as a technical expert across both hardware and software, and grow alongside a team of seasoned professionals.

This company specializes in immersion cooling solutions for data centers.

While already well-established, they maintain a startup mindset and are poised for growth alongside the niche and expanding immersion cooling industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for generating electrical schematics, developing bills of materials (BOMs), defining firmware specifications, programming embedded applications for PLCs, authoring sequences of operation, and supporting firmware testing and evaluation (T&E).

This is a fantastic opportunity to wear many hats and develop your technical skills at a company aiming to be a leader in the growing immersion cooling industry.

The Role:
* Design control systems and define firmware requirements for embedded applications
* Create and manage electrical schematics for control system architectures
* Ensure version control and documentation standards for firmware and software releases are maintained
* Develop applications for embedded PLC platforms

The Person:
* Background in Embedded Control Systems
* Prior experience in electrical circuit design, including schematic capture for power systems such as motor control circuits
* Previous experience contributing directly to coding projects (Proficient in Python, JavaScript, Java, and/or C++)
* Proficient in system design / motor starters
