**Position Description:**
Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project.
Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures.
Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained.
May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

**Major/Essential Functions:**
Publicizing the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) to the community through press releases, speaking appearances, and personal visits to professional organization meetings, as well as radio and television, telephone contacts, letters to various social service agencies, and any other means of educating the public on services available.
Maintaining and establishing partnerships with and collaborating with outreach efforts and educational
workshops in cooperation with social service agencies, schools, churches, and other entities in the LITC service area of 88 counties.
Scheduling educational workshops in the LITC service area for LITC Director and students.
Oversees the daily operations of the Clinic’s Case Management System.
Conducts initial screening of taxpayer eligibility for services.
Supports the management of client records and collection of grant-required data.
Reports to the Clinic Director on operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Assists the Clinic Director in strategic planning as well as with the creation and implementation of policies and procedures related to the management of the Clinic.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor and/or clinic director
Serves as the Clinic’s grant reporting expert.
Develops and maintains internal reports to assess operations, analyze trends, and monitor compliance and performance for grant reporting purposes.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
Two years of experience with outreach and community education to low-income community, minority, and/or English as a second language groups; Ability to communicate fluently and effectively (verbally and written) in Spanish and English is preferred but not required.
Ability to travel and provide own transportation.
Must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays.
Preferred experience preparing reports and organizing large quantities of data.
Knowledge or experience with tax is not required.
