Essential Functions
Program Coordination & Administration: Manage the statewide COPE program, including planning, scheduling, logistics, grant compliance, outcome tracking, and reporting.
Ensure program activities align with Childrens Nebraskas goals and funder expectations. Provider & Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with pediatric providers, community partners, and behavioral health professionals to strengthen the continuum of care and promote collaboration across the state. Suicide Prevention Integration: Support the implementation of the Zero Suicide framework by incorporating suicide prevention strategies into provider education, outreach initiatives, and organizational practices. Education & Training Delivery: Develop, coordinate, and deliver educational sessions, trainings, and outreach materials for pediatric primary care providers focused on pediatric mental health care, early identification, treatment strategies, and suicide prevention. Strategic Planning & Representation: Participate in strategic planning, quality improvement efforts, and represent Childrens Nebraska at statewide meetings, conferences, and community forums related to pediatric behavioral health and suicide prevention.
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, or related field Required and Master's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field PreferredExperience Qualifications
1-3 years in behavioral health, healthcare education, public health, or program coordination required.
Required and working in pediatric or primary care settings Preferred with training/education program development and delivery PreferredSkills and Abilities
understanding of pediatric behavioral health and primary care environments (High proficiency) communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for diverse provider audiences (High proficiency) ability to develop collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders (High proficiency) skilled in program development, evaluation, and grant compliance (Medium proficiency) knowledge of suicide prevention best practices and the Zero Suicide framework (Medium proficiency) organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines (Medium proficiency)
