Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Copy Editor with exceptional editing skills to join its Document Quality Assurance department.
The Copy Editor will be responsible for proofreading and copyediting new book content for the Wolfram eTextbook series, which teaches core academic concepts through interactive examples using Wolfram Language.
This position requires attention to detail and a firm grasp of the English language, in-depth knowledge of English grammar and prior experience editing or proofreading book-length content.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with various formats (print, PDF, Kindle) and will have an enthusiasm for the rigor and precision of scientific academic writing.

Salary (for eligible candidates residing in the United States): The pay rate for this position is between $15.00 and $16.00 per hour or your location's minimum wage, whichever is greater.
