Job description

**Description**

Are you passionate about protecting critical infrastructure and solving complex engineering challenges?

We’re looking for a Corrosion Engineer I to join our dynamic team and contribute to innovative projects across the country.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection who’s ready to grow and make an impact.

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with a variety of corrosion engineering projects, helping to protect vital infrastructure like pipelines, storage tanks, and above-ground facilities.

You’ll gather and analyze field data, assess corrosion risks, and develop preliminary designs and reports to mitigate those risks.

You’ll also design cathodic protection systems and perform field surveys using techniques like CIS, ACVG, DCVG, and PCM.

Your work will be guided by industry standards such as NACE and PHMSA regulations, and you’ll be expected to document your findings and apply technical procedures with precision.

You’ll interact directly with clients and vendors, often independently, and play a key role in ensuring quality control across your projects.

This position involves travel—up to 50% across the U.S.— but it's typically in short mobilizations of 1-3 days.

You’ll be out in the field supporting tasks like data collection and system troubleshooting.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science from an accredited university.
+ 3–5 years of experience in corrosion engineering and cathodic protection.
+ NACE CP-2 certification required.
+ Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ NACE CP-3 certification
+ Registration as a EIT or professional engineer
