HIRING: Junior Cost EstimatorLocation: Greenvale, NY
Schedule: Onsite, Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Cost Estimator to join our team and play a key role in keeping projects financially on track.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work across all phases of construction—from early budgeting through closeout—while gaining exposure to high-end retail, residential, and commercial developments.
You’ll collaborate directly with project managers, accounting, and firm leadership to support cost control, scope development, and subcontractor coordination.

What You’ll Do

+ Track and maintain detailed job costing against original budgets

+ Assist in developing and confirming scopes of work for contracts

+ Support monthly billing processes in coordination with accounting

+ Flag budget variances and provide actionable insights to PMs and principals

+ Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates across architectural, structural, and mechanical trades

+ Contribute to early-phase construction management tasks, including:

+ Concept budgeting

+ Subcontractor outreach and qualification

+ Value engineering coordination with design teams


What We’re Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

+ 0–3 years of experience in cost estimation or construction cost control

+ Familiarity with construction and bidding processes

+ Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite

+ Ability to read blueprints and perform takeoffs across multiple trades

Bonus Points For

+ Experience with general contracting or project budgeting

+ Exposure to high-end retail, commercial, or residential projects

Salary Range: $60,000 – $91,500 annually (based on experience)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $44.00/hr.
