**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
+ Experience designing and building architectures and migrating workloads to cloud environments.
+ Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Experience building business partnerships with partners and customers in an architecture or solution delivery role.
+ Experience with virtualization or containerization platforms and migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
+ Experience with networking and security concepts, and Google Cloud solutions.
+ Experience conducting partner or executive level technical engagements along with excellent communication skills.
+ Experience in analytics, data and information life-cycle management, relating to SAP portfolio and technologies.
+ Experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure needs.

As a Customer Engineer, you will work with Partner Development Managers to grow and support the Google Cloud partner ecosystem.
You will understand the technical capabilities of the partners and be in the position to recommend the right partner and solutions to the customers.
In this role, you will lead the effort to enable partners across technologies and solutions.
You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market, differentiate against the market, and create new business growth streams.
You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, migration, and deployment phases, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and standard procedures.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

**Responsibilities**
+ Enable partners in prototyping and demonstrating product integrations and guiding customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s).
Support partners developing solutions, ensuring the best use of Google Cloud.
+ Recommend and review integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud.
+ Work with Partner Managers and Partner Engineers (PE) to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver solutions to our customers.
Onboard partners to the Marketplace and empower them to drive pilots, proofs of concept, and production workloads.
+ Build technical assets, collaborate with partners to develop Google Cloud-specific solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, whitepapers, and demos with ISV products.
+ Lead technical projects, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product, and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
