THE ROLE: In this high-profile role, you will lead co-development and highly visible programs between AMD and our largest customers including customer specific innovation experiences, integration, optimization, and solution delivery to enable the industry’s leading-edge Mobile, Desktop, and Workstation platforms.

You will work across all Engineering and Business functions to meet overall program objectives from an Engineering and Customer facing perspective.

THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will possess at least 8 years of relevant experience in product development from a design, platform, product and/or technical program management discipline.

The candidate should have experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Program Manager, and Business Team interface with the ability to drive multi-site and multi-disciplined engineering programs.

Silicon bring-up/debug experience is beneficial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Defines, plans and drives projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance OEM Customer point of contact for co-development and high visibility platform engagements Manage innovation ideation, incubation, feature selection, and platform level execution with OEMs and AMD Aggregate ambiguous OEM and AMD program level details, identify and lead the path forward Develop program schedule.

Build, create and maintain a well-developed, managed and executed program plan.

Identify risks and contingency plans.

Create best in class “out of the box” customer experience Drive resolution of customer blocking and end-user use case issues Assess programs and leverage learning to enhance AMD’s development and release processes Being comfortable working with senior executives is a hard requirement.

You must address the needs and requirements called upon from AMD's Engineering, Product Management and Customer Engineering organizations PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Good understanding of requirements management, documentation management, and defect management Ability to lead teams, network, build relationships, and drive effective decision-making across multiple functions and levels within the organization and with Customers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly Highly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines Effective influencing skills to lead, motivate, and guide geographically distributed technical teams Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Quick to adapt to dynamic business and technical requirements ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering MBA is a plus Formal Project Management education, PMP certified, is a plus #LI-LB1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
