Customer Service Representative – Service with In-Book Sales Growth

The Friel Agency is looking for a Customer Service Representative who can provide excellent client support while confidently identifying and pursuing in-book sales opportunities.



This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health).

If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses with our full support.



Role Description



As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients—resolving inquiries, handling policy updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You’ll also play a key role in identifying opportunities within our existing client base to offer additional coverage, helping customers feel fully protected while driving agency growth.



Key Responsibilities





  • Deliver Exceptional Service – Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and process policy changes with care and professionalism.




  • Support Clients Through Claims – Assist with insurance claims and follow up to ensure timely resolution.




  • Identify Sales Opportunities – Recognize in-book opportunities to recommend additional products that meet customer needs.




  • Stay Organized – Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details.




  • Collaborate with the Team – Work alongside licensed teammates to ensure seamless customer experiences.



Qualifications




  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.



  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.



  • Previous customer service experience preferred; sales experience a plus.



  • Willingness to confidently engage in sales conversations when opportunities arise.



  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health (or willingness to obtain with agency support).
