**Job Description:**

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer, who will play a critical role in safeguarding systems, networks, and data by performing comprehensive vulnerability management and security assessments.

This role will be on-site in San Diego, CA and requires an active secret clearance.

International travel may also be required.

**Responsibilities Include:**

+ Perform comprehensive vulnerability management and security assessments to safeguard systems, networks, and data.
+ Identify and mitigate risks across software, hardware, and networking components.
+ Conduct system security testing during lab-based and site-based assessments.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize remediation efforts and ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
+ Maintain and update RMF documentation, including Security Controls artifacts, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

**Here’s What You Need:**

+ Experience in cybersecurity
+ Experience in Linux Operating Systems
+ Experience updating and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, including Security Controls and compliance (ex: OpenSCAP, ACAS, SCC)
+ Security+ Certification

**Bonus Points If You Have:**

+ CISSP or CISA Certifications
+ Linux+ or RHSA Certifications
+ Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience with knowledge of SELinux (MAC and DAC security mechanisms)
+ Previous networking experience

**Eligibility Requirements:**

+ US Citizenship required, dual citizens not eligible
+ Secret clearance is required for this role with ability to obtain TS/SCI
+ Must have an active US passport and able to travel internationally

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of **California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia** .

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.

$84,900—$160,200 USD
