Job Title: Data Collector
Job Description
The main function of a Data Collector is to perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
This role typically involves working under the supervision of a medical technologist.
Responsibilities
+ Set up, adjust, maintain, and clean medical laboratory equipment.
+ Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications using special mechanical and electrical devices.
+ Gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs, and narratives.
+ Obtain specimens, cultivate, isolate, and identify microorganisms for analysis.
+ Examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.
+ Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.
+ Experience with AR/VR, gaming, and drone technology is a plus.

+ Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
+ Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Basic knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries and diseases.
+ Basic ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Associate's degree in medical technology or vocational training preferred.
+ Comfortable wearing a VR headset for up to 3 hours (glasses are okay).
+ Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
+ Willingness to sign an NDA.
Work Environment
This position is located on-site in Redmond and requires working five days a week.
The role involves being comfortable with basic, mundane tasks and adhering to company policies.
The ability to exercise sound judgment, manage stress, work safely and respectfully with others, and exhibit trustworthiness are crucial to maintaining the company's reputation and meeting client expectations.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
