Overview
The Decision Scientist supports the improvement of judgment and decision-making across individuals, teams, and organizations.

Drawing on principles of psychology, data science, and analytics, this role enhances analytic rigor, business processes, and operational workflows.

The Decision Scientist contributes to mission success through workflow evaluation, training development, and process redesign that improves productivity and analytic performance.




Responsibilities


+ Apply data science, statistics, and behavioral science to support HUMINT operations and organizational decision-making.



+ Use statistical tools, data visualization, and modeling techniques to produce actionable insights.



+ Support mission planning and performance measurement through quantitative analysis.



+ Conduct workflow testing, evaluation, and redesign to enhance analytic and operational processes.



+ Work with both classified and open-source data to develop intelligence products.



+ Assist in policy planning, training initiatives, and workflow recommendations to improve organizational outcomes.




Qualifications


+ Minimum of 8 years of directly related analytic experience, with at least a portion completed within the last 2 years.



+ Active TS/SCI.



+ Bachelor’s degree in a field related to the labor category from an accredited institution.
