The Program Coordinator will organize and lead faculty in a manner that ensures quality classroom instruction.
Administer programs, monitor the learning process and tailor course materials to the levels and needs of individual students, which will ultimately allow students to develop employable skills leading them to jobs that are commensurate with student ability and employer expectation.
The Dental Assisting Program Coordinator will have a hand in:
+ Instructional Delivery
+ Student Service
+ Subject Matter Expertise
+ Faculty Management, Mentoring, and Training
+ Program Administration
Position Requirements:
+ Graduate of a Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene program
+ Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) through the DANB
+ 3 or more years of recent Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene experience
+ 3-5 years’ classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
+ 5 years of successful leadership and management experience preferred
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
