About DAS




The Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) provides timely and cost-effective services to state agencies, state employees, municipalities, private industry, and the public.

DAS offers a diverse array of programs, encompassing statewide human resources, information technology, fleet vehicle services, building and construction, procurement, grants administration, and beyond.






Our Offices

The Office of the Commissioner (https://portal.ct.gov/das/about-das?language=en_US) provides communications for the agency, ensures a diverse and inclusive working environment for it’s employees, and houses the Internal Audit Division for DAS.

Procurement Services (https://portal.ct.gov/das/procurement-programs-and-services?language=en_US) handles bid and contract opportunities for anyone seeking to do business with the State of Connecticut.

Collection Services (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services-for-agencies-and-municipalities/business-office/collections?language=en_US) helps state and other agencies collect monies, with a focus on billing, recovery, delinquent accounts, the Connecticut State Tax Intercept Program, and central accounting (CAU).

The Business Office (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services-for-agencies-and-municipalities/business-office?language=en_US) helps agencies with financial and fiscal services, ranging from managing physical assets, to providing grant management services, to purchasing office equipment and supplies.

Fleet Operations (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services-for-agencies-and-municipalities/fleet-vehicles?language=en_US) supplies over 3,600 vehicles to over 90 state agencies and departments across the state of Connecticut.

Human Resources (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services-for-state-employees/statewide-human-resources?language=en_US) handles hiring, job classifications, compensation plans, employee benefits, learning and development, workers’ compensation, and additional areas of interest.

Construction Services (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services/doing-business-with-the-state/state-building-construction) works on new construction of state buildings, and regulatory compliance, inspections, and fire safety as it relates to state properties.

Facilities Management (https://portal.ct.gov/das/services/for-agencies-and-municipalities/properties-and-facilities-management?language=en_US) administers the operations, maintenance and security of some state-owned buildings.

The Bureau of Information and Technology Solutions (https://portal.ct.gov/das/about-das?language=en_US) (BITS) provides IT, application, data, hosting, and network services to state agencies.









Our offices are located at 450 Columbus Boulevard ​in downtown Hartford.

Positioned conveniently near ​Dunkin’ Park, Constitution Plaza, the Connecticut ​Convention Center, UConn Hartford, the CT Science ​Museum, and numerous great places to eat, our ​building will keep you connected with co-workers ​and the general public we serve.

The office space is located on the top floors of the ​north tower at 450 Columbus Boulevard, providing ​the latest technology to help get our work done ​efficiently and outstanding views of the ​Connecticut River and the Hartford skyline.
