Deputy Program Manager Job Opening In Springfield – Now Hiring NANA Regional Corporation


Job description

AGL, an Akima company, is seeking a highly qualified Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the Program Management Office (PMO) for a high-visibility federal initiative.

The DPM will assist the Program Manager (PM) in ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant delivery of Technical Security Systems (TSS) services across the United States.

**Responsibilities**

+ Provide secondary support to the PMO and serve as back-up liaison between the Contractor and the Government for the base and option years of the contract.
+ Serve as back-up to the PM on resolution for all contractual and performance-related issues.
+ Collaborate closely with on-site team leads/key personnel to stay fully appraised of task status and performance.
+ Ensure contractor personnel performance, efficiency, and alignment with contract objectives.
+ Monitor work performance including inventory control and asset management through Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Be available to meet with Government personnel at any Government facility within the DC metropolitan area within one (1) hour of request.
+ Assist with oversight of all phases of TSS support, including design, engineering, installation, maintenance, repair, and asset management.
+ Review and approve timesheets, travel authorizations, and expense reports.
+ Coordinate deployment of preventive maintenance and emergency response teams to ensure continuous protection of people and information.

**Qualifications**

+ Active Top-Secret clearance.
+ Proven experience serving as a Deputy Program Manager on a large-scale government contract and supporting PMO functions.
+ Demonstrated experience with scheduling and managing simultaneous Technical Security System (TSS) equipment installation projects is preferred.
+ Knowledge of federal contract terms, compliance standards, and project delivery.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively with senior government stakeholders.
+ Experience providing oversight to a team of technicians in installing large complex security systems for Government facilities.
+ Ability to respond rapidly to Government communications and requirements.
+ Experience designing and engineering security systems in accordance with regulations, NEC & FAH/FAM.
+ 10 years of relevant work experience on similar-scoped projects.
+ Background in technical security systems, perimeter protection, or physical security infrastructure.
+ Proficient in Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), MS Office Suite, CostPoint, and Deltek.
+ U.S. Citizen.
