Basic Job Functions:
As a Design Intern, you will be learning the responsibilities of a full-time design engineer, as well as assisting the Engineering Department in various production-related projects.
This could include: • Hands-on Learning: Acquire invaluable experience supporting the role of a full-time design engineer while actively contributing to a variety of production-related projects within our Engineering Department.
• Load Analysis Mastery: Delve deep into the complexities of determining building loads and intricately tracing load paths through diverse structures, refining your understanding of structural dynamics and engineering principles.
• Software Proficiency: Engage in comprehensive training sessions to proficiently operate our state-of-the-art proprietary design software, equipping you with the tools to effectively execute design tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Design Contribution: Play a pivotal role in the design process, collaborating with seasoned professionals to develop structurally sound and economically viable components that uphold our commitment to safety and excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School or General Equivalency Diploma
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
• Effective with the English language using both verbal and written skills Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Training or experience with statics, structural analysis, steel design
• Training or experience with CAD software
• Degree emphasis in Structures
• Leadership experience within clubs or organizations
