Desktop Support Technician Job Opening In Las Vegas – Now Hiring TEKsystems

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users, focusing on Windows operating systems, hardware servicing, and network troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in system refreshes, hardware repair, and resolving connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Windows OS & Microsoft Office SupportInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.Perform system refreshes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to users.Resolve software-related issues and provide guidance to users on system functionality.
  • Hardware Installation & RepairService desktop and laptop hardware, including replacing components such as hard drives, memory modules, and printer rollers.Install and configure external printers and drivers, ensuring proper network integration and functionality.Maintain inventory and documentation of hardware repairs and replacements.
  • Network & Connectivity TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve WiFi and wireless connectivity issues across various devices.Support basic networking tasks including IP configuration, DNS/DHCP troubleshooting, and peripheral connectivity.Collaborate with network teams as needed to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with desktop/laptop hardware servicing and printer setup
  • Strong understanding of basic networking principles and wireless troubleshooting
