Position Description:
CGI has an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development and maintenance of scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment processes, automate infrastructure provisioning, and enhance system reliability.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and log management, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proven experience designing and managing infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, Kinesis, Firehose, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Strong proficiency in GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Splunk for log ingestion, analysis, and monitoring in AWS environments.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, including automation, scalability, and security.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across development, QA, and operations teams.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
