Urgent! DevSec Engineer Job Opening In – Now Hiring Numerator



Job description

Numerator is seeking a Senior DevSec Engineer to integrate security at every step of our development lifecycle.

This role is critical in embedding secure-by-design principles across our infrastructure, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
What You’ll Do:
+ Embed security tooling in CI/CD workflows and automate SDLC security checks
+ Conduct secure code reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments
+ Partner with software engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities at scale
+ Maintain SAST/DAST tools and integrate them with dev workflows
+ Lead investigations into high-priority vulnerabilities or misconfigurations






+ Champion DevSecOps best practices through enablement and training

What You Bring:
+ 5-7 years in DevSecOps, AppSec, or security automation
+ Strong experience with modern CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
+ Hands-on work with SAST/DAST tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Burp)
+ Solid coding skills in Python
+ Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred), container security (Kubernetes preferred), IaC (Terraform must have)
+ Familiarity with SBOM, supply chain security
+ Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat modeling
+ Experience with GitHub co-pilot or other AI prompt engineering tools




Nice to Haves:
+ Contributions to open-source security tools
+ Experience building security champion programs
+ AI agentic coding via tools like Claude Code
