    The Die Cast Process Engineer is responsible for driving improvements in manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

    Working closely with the Manufacturing Manager, this role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, optimizing methods, and implementing solutions that enhance output while reducing costs.


    Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, quality, and safety

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new processes, technologies, and equipment on time and within budget

  • Lead and support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures

  • Monitor process data, analyze trends, and implement data-driven improvements

  • Reduce cost, minimize waste, and improve efficiency through process innovation

  • Track and improve performance metrics such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rates

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process issues

  • Train production teams on procedures, equipment, and new processes

  • Maintain process documentation including APQP, machine setup, tooling, work instructions, and gage instructions

  • Support Product Design to ensure manufacturability, safety, quality, and productivity

  • Manage tools in the manufacturing area, including molds, dies, fixtures, and gauges

  • Deliver projects on specification, on schedule, and within budget
