The anticipated salary range for this role is between $213,000.00 and $231,000.00.

The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualification, experiences, and analysis of current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at time of hire.

The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

**SUMMARY:**

Jenius Digital Bank is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Director of Data Architecture to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise data ecosystem.

This role will oversee the architecture of data platforms, governance frameworks, and AI/ML enablement, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure scalability, and collaborate cross-functionally to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML workloads.
+ Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
+ Oversee the full data lifecycle including ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), metadata management, data quality, lineage, and access control.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Security, DevOps, and Enterprise Architecture to deliver cohesive and secure data solutions.
+ Drive the development of AI/ML infrastructure, including feature stores, model training pipelines, and GenAI/MLOps practices.
+ Lead and mentor data architects and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.

+ Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
+ At least 6 years of hands-on experience building data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
+ Experience with AI/ML models and AI/ML platforms such as Vertex AI, MLflow, or similar tools.
+ Proven experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks, metadata management, and secure access controls.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience mentoring technical teams and collaborating across business units.

Nice to Have:

+ Certifications in GCP Professional Data Engineer/Architect, AWS, or Azure.
+ Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA and their impact on data strategy.
