Job Summary:
The Director of Workforce Solutions leads HR Shared Services, HR Information Systems, Employee Relations and Compliance for Mercury Systems.
This role provides strategic leadership for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and services.
This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance and a high-quality employee experience.
This position also helps to create an employee advocacy environment through proactive processes, policies and balanced investigations into workplace matters.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Key Responsibilities
+ Define and execute the HR Operations and Shared Services strategy aligned with enterprise goals and digital enablement.
+ Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence and Business leaders to ensure HR service delivery supports mission-critical work.
+ Lead change management for HR process and policy updates.
HR Operations and Service Delivery
+ Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLA’s), performance metrics and continuous improvement goals for HR service delivery.
+ Drive operational excellence through standardization, process re-engineering and technology optimization.
+ Manage the HR shared service team to deliver consistent, efficient services for the employees and the HR function.
Employee Relations Compliance, Risk and Governance
+ Ensure all HR operations comply with federal and state labor laws, ITAR, EEO and other compliance related laws.
+ Lead internal HR audits and collaborate with Legal, Security and Compliance teams.
+ Implement policies, investigations and processes that drive a common employee experience aligned with Mercury Systems’ Values, Mindsets and Behaviors.
+ Implement data governance frameworks to ensure functional work is appropriately applied with necessary reviews and approvals.
Technology and Data Analytics
+ Partner with IT to enhance HR system capabilities.
+ Oversee the integrity and analytics of HR data to enable strategic workforce insights.
+ Ensure all HR systems are operating as intended and work with vendors to immediately resolve system downtime.
People Leadership
+ Lead, mentor and develop a team of HR operations professionals.
+ Foster a culture that is in alignment with Mercury Systems’ Values, Mindsets and Behaviors.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
+ Background in Aerospace or DOD background.
+ At least ten years of progressive HR experience, including at least five years in HR Operations and two-years leading a shared-service team.
+ Demonstrated success implementing new policies, process and/ or systems, to include associated change management.
+ Expert knowledge of HR compliance in government contracting, to include success managing risk, specific to Compliance and Employee Relations.
+ Deep understanding of HR systems and data analytics.
Preferred Qualification:
+ Lean or Six Sigma certifications
+ Master’s degree in HR, Business or related field
