That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

The Director of Marketing Analytics [Paid Media] will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the strategic planning, insight, performance, execution, and accountability of DriveTime’s advertising dollars.

You will be closely partnered with stakeholders across marketing, retail, and risk to ensure we are maximizing return on investment and supporting each of the 85 markets we serve.

You are expected to further develop our capabilities by partnering with Product, Data Science, IT, and external partners such as our media agency, data providers, and key publishers.

You will be joining an organization with expertise in TV & Search advertising.

Your job is to continue to innovate in that space, play on the edge of what’s known.

Additionally, you will help size, prioritize, and test other means of advertising to grow DriveTime’s market share.

  • Guide and enhance strategic marketing roadmap and project valuation in collaboration with Senior leaders, Product, Risk and Operations to ensure the success of the Marketing Organization.

  • Develop the analytical framework, activation means and reporting tools to support and accelerate DriveTime’s profitable growth

  • Lead & Develop a team of talented strategic analysts - Develop future leaders

  • Leverage data across ad campaigns and DriveTime.com to optimize campaign strategy and financial results

  • Partner with leaders across website analytics and UX to drive conversion rate from paid channels

  • Communicate and report quarterly plans and results - ensure all material risks and changes to forecasts are discussed.

  • Facilitate periodic strategic check-in’s with stakeholders - what are we working on, how is that going to impact the business

  • The Specifics.

  • 4+ years’ experience in leadership or people management roles

  • 4+ years’ experience in analytics, finance, business consulting or other related field

  • Bachelors degree required

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen; ability to translate data into insight and excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior experience managing and developing analysts

  • Experience with economic/financial analysis

  • Experience with SQL or snowflake as well as with Microsoft Excel

  • Nice to Haves.

  • Experience with digital analytics or marketing analytics for a leading brand or large organization

  • Experience with A/B testing and other testing methodologies

  • Experience designing & utilizing attribution for decision making

  • Experience with TV strategy and TV data analytics

  • Financial services experience

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as economics, engineering, finance, statistics, or related hard science discipline

  • Experience leveraging statistical models to drive performance improvement
