Job Description:
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this position provides leadership and expertise relating to the College's Information Technology infrastructure; including computing systems, servers, network, storage, and security.
This position also oversees the end-to-end integration of infrastructure components to support the effective, efficient, and secure delivery of information technology services.
Oversight includes local and cloud-based components, systems, and services.
This role will be crucial to modernizing the current College infrastructure.
Additionally, this position serves as a key member within the Information Technology department in assisting with strategic direction and outcomes.
The Director of IS will have a strong focus and commitment to change management and ITIL methodologies.
The position requires recent experience in networking and server administration.
The Director will possess a thorough understanding of management of Brocade or Cisco Network and server support.
Some weekend and extended hours are possible.
Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or comparable field.
Experience Required: Five (5) years related IT Management experience.
Recent hands on experience in System administration of MS Windows, Linux Servers and Network equipment either Brocade or Cisco.
Management experience in an IT Department including managing network support and server system administrator personnel.
