Growing National firm looking to add a talented Engineering Manager –Distribution to their Columbus team!
Responsibilities:
Project manager/leadership role through all
phases of the development of high voltage infrastructure projects (complete A
& E design, survey, environmental assessment, field services, utilities,
and geotechnical services)
Mentor/train junior staff
Serve as technical lead (identify discrepancies
and identify possible solutions
Manage all aspects of project communication
using all forms of communication while working with clients and team members
(virtual, in-person, phone)
Build/maintain client relationships (look for
new opportunities and meet revenue goals)
Develop/oversee project scope, schedule, and
fees for new projects
Develop/oversee additional scope/services
requested by clients
Perform administrative duties (develop,
communicate, and track workflow tasks, scheduling, quality assurance and client
standards, and ensuring that project documents are consistent with project
plans and within scope and budget)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or
Electrical Engineering
A Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
6+ years of distribution line design experience
3+ years of managing distribution line projects
preferred
In lieu of a college degree, 12+ years of
electrical utility experience
PE License preferred
Proficient understanding of safety codes,
utility standards, and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE)
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
Outlook, Word, etc.)
Understanding of Distribution Design Studio,
SPIDACalc, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and O-Calc preferred
Salary is
commensurate with experience.
