Role Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing global SAP standard processes within MANN+HUMMEL’s distribution network, with a particular focus on end-to-end SAP processes in distribution and order fulfillment.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the definition, documentation, and implementation of SAP processes for outbound warehouses and distribution centers worldwideRegularly review and optimize existing processes in collaboration with SAP module process managers and the IT teamIdentify and analyze process gaps and develop recommendations for improvements to end-to-end processesSelect and implement state-of-the-art warehouse technologies; create and evaluate business cases to support implementationCollaborate closely with transportation and distribution process managers to develop best-in-class end-to-end distribution processesActively contribute to key project phases and independently manage sub-projectsTake on team leadership responsibilities and support line managersPrepare detailed specifications for development requirementsBuild and maintain a trust-based collaboration with regional distribution teamsEnsure smooth implementation of global processes at the regional levelYour Profile
Education: Successfully completed university degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable fieldProfessional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics applications, with strong industry knowledge and expertise in business process planningExpertise:Extensive SAP knowledge, including SAP ECC and S/4 (SD, MM, FI/CO), and experience with LE-TRA and WM/EWMFamiliarity with material flow management and related processesSolid understanding of warehouse operations or relevant hands-on experience in warehouse managementExperience in (functional) leadership of distribution centers is a plusLanguages: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German is a plusPersonality:High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a teamStructured working styleStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsWillingness to stay up to date with the latest market developmentsEnjoyment of working in an international environment and on global projectsConfident communication across all hierarchical levelsWillingness to travel up to 30%Openness to short-term assignments (up to three months) both nationally and internationally as part of project workDiversity and inclusion are part of our DNA.
