Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS Cloud, database development, deployment, and management of digital insurance platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong front-end and back-end technical capabilities, cloud architecture experience, and platform engineering skills, with additional experience in executing insurance domain projects.


Job Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain backend services utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and integrate with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.



+ Build responsive, user-friendly frontend applications with Angular for insurance portals and customer platforms.



+ Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions on AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2, Glue, Arora Postgres and CloudFormation, etc.



+ Lead platform engineering initiatives, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure code using GEN AI capabilities, and monitoring.



+ Oversee platform management across diverse environments, ensuring platform independence and seamless operation.



+ Ensure compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations relevant to the insurance industry.



+ Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor system performance for both front-end and backend components.



+ Stay updated with the latest digital and cloud trends and incorporate best practices.

Accountabilities:

+ Deliver and maintain robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and ensure seamless integration with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

+ Develop responsive, user-friendly Angular front-end applications for insurance portals and customer platforms.

+ Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFormation, etc.).

+ Lead platform engineering initiatives, including automation, CI/CD pipeline setup, infrastructure as code, and monitoring, utilizing GEN AI capabilities.

+ Oversee platform management to ensure independence, stability, and seamless operation across diverse environments.

+ Ensure all solutions comply with security standards and data privacy regulations relevant to the insurance industry.

+ Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor system performance for both frontend and backend components to maintain high availability and efficiency.

+ Continuously update skills and incorporate the latest digital and cloud best practices into platform and application development.

Required Skills and Experiences

Educational Qualification

+ Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.



Specific Qualifications

+ Proficient in developing and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with a strong focus on scalable and maintainable code.

+ Demonstrated experience in insurance domain projects, including quotations, applications, claims, policies, and underwriting processes.

+ Advanced expertise in AWS cloud services, covering deployment, management, automation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions.

+ Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including data modeling, complex queries, and performance optimization.

+ In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

+ Proven ability to manage platform operations, ensuring independence, stability, and scalability across multiple environments.

+ Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on security, system performance, and long-term maintainability.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork with cross-functional and diverse stakeholder groups.

+ Knowledge of additional cloud platforms or insurance-specific digital solutions is advantageous

+ AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer) are a plus.



+ Experience in digital engineering within the insurance domain is highly desirable.
