As a Domain Data Architect in the Finance Data Mart team, you will partner with Technology and Product teams to design and deliver data domains using Databricks.
You will enable the Finance function to access and analyze essential data, supporting business needs across banking, wealth management, credit cards, auto lending, and home lending.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to make data discoverable and actionable, fostering a culture of informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
You will work within a dynamic, cross-functional team, contributing to the transformation of our data architecture and integration processes.
Your expertise will help ensure our data solutions remain robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices, supporting the analytical and reporting needs of the Finance organization.
Job Responsibilities
Implement and optimize the Finance Data Mart using Databricks and ThoughtSpot for analytics and reportingDesign efficient data mart schemas consolidating key data categories from multiple source systemsCollaborate with data engineers, analysts, and technical specialists to gather and analyze business requirementsDevelop and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines using DatabricksPartner with Area Product teams and stakeholders to design reporting and analytics solutionsApply design-led thinking to make data discoverable and accessible for analytical needsMaintain documentation on data mart architecture, data models, ETL processes, and governance policiesStay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in data managementEnsure alignment of data solutions with organizational objectivesSupport the Finance function across diverse business areasFoster a collaborative and innovative team environmentRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Minimum seven years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, and data integration in financial servicesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplineExpertise in designing scalable data mart architectures, including star and snowflake schemasStrong knowledge of data management, data lineage, and data dictionariesProven track record in managing and delivering complex data projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, and ERWINPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services; AWS Certifications preferredExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data warehousesExperience with market-leading data catalog systemsExperience with ThoughtSpot, Sigma, Tableau, Alteryx, or Essbase a plus
