Overview

Are you a Website Developer looking to make a real impact as a Part-Time Contractor?

Domotz, a fast-growing leader in the Computer Observability industry, is seeking a passionate, motivated part-time contractor to join our Marketing team and take ownership of our website.

About Domotz: Domotz is a leading provider of network monitoring and management solutions, helping IT professionals gain visibility and control over their environments.

We are on a mission to redefine how businesses manage their networks, and we need a talented Website Developer to translate that mission into an engaging and powerful website!

About the role

We are seeking a Contract Web Developer to own and manage the development and performance of our marketing web properties during a key transition period.

This includes our main website built in HTML/PHP/JS and our WordPress-based Help Center and Blog.

You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design stakeholders to support feature launches, optimize conversion funnels, and implement website improvements tied to growth.

This role is hands-on with a strong development foundation but also invites collaboration on strategy — especially around site UX, performance, SEO, and conversion tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain & enhance www.domotz.com (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP), revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content
  • Deploy code via Bitbucket PRs and Heroku environments (test, staging, production)
  • Support marketing campaigns: build and optimize landing pages, trial flows, homepage/promo modules
  • Own WordPress management for the Help Center and Blog (6.7.1): plugin/theme updates, security, layout fixes
  • Optimize web performance (load speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness)
  • Improve SEO + analytics foundation: structured data, meta tags, schema, tracking pixels
  • Enable testing: A/B testing setup, UTM parameters, conversion tracking
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance overall user experience of our platforms
  • Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish
  • WordPress (Blog & Help Center)
  • Bitbucket + Heroku
  • Figma (design handoff, collaboration with design team)
  • SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs – nice to have)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development
  • Comfortable working independently on complex site architecture
  • Strong collaboration skills with marketers and PMMs on fast-turnaround projects
  • Ability to balance speed and quality in delivery
  • Experience with B2B SaaS or PLG environments (preferred)
  • Ability to translate design guidelines into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices

What Success Looks Like

  • Quick turnaround on feature updates and marketing campaign pages
  • Reliable and responsive site performance during team transition
  • Clear handoff documentation for future internal team ownership
  • Part-time (minimum 20 hours/week, with potential to increase to 30–35 hours/week)
  • Fixed-term contract (3–6 months) with potential extension
  • Availability for regular standups and code reviews

If you’re a hands-on web developer who thrives at the intersection of tech, marketing, and design, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us shape the next chapter of our web experience!
