FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: 4-10 hour shifts weekdays.

Weekends 1:4 required.

Night call 1:4 week day nights.

Position Summary

The Echocardiographer is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team.

This technical operator role offers a venue for utilizing your specialized knowledge and clinical skill sets.

You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and high-quality imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Responsibilities

  • You will obtain high-quality recordings of ultrasound images of the heart and related structures
  • You will perform diagnostic radiology to accomplish strategic departmental goals
  • You will utilize your knowledge and skills of the diverse types of ultrasound procedures
  • You will engage your clinical interpretive knowledge, independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in performing procedures
  • Requirements

  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers with a specialty Registration of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS); If RDCS registry eligible, must receive RDCS certification within 12 months of hire or transfer
  • Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International as Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) may be substituted for RDCS with the expectation of obtaining ARDMS registry within 12 months of hire or transferBLS CertificationPrevious experience as an Echocardiographer preferred, but not required

    We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

    As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.

    The pay scale is $40.65 - $58.51 USD.

    However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.

    If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
