This is a hybrid position that will primarily be remote but will also require some onsite work in Corvallis, OR.
JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Supports Samaritan Health Plans in achieving its strategic goals and optimal business outcomes through the design, development, implementation, and governance of education related programs and business initiatives.
Manages programs and initiatives assigned to personal portfolio by department leadership.
As subject matter expert on assigned portfolio, supports the organization with relevant consulting, coaching, and multimodal resource development.
Works with department leadership on portfolio measurement, reporting and evaluation.
Provides reasoned recommendations to enhance organizational development and sustain continuous improvement.
Develops training sequence and content for health plan initiatives, focused on role-specific employee training and continuing education.
Facilitates training and work groups in person and/or virtually.
Employs evidence-based initiatives, tools, and theories to develop and deliver training and/or training resources.
Identifies and assesses gaps, including in process or competency.
Identifies and acts on opportunities for improvement and alignment internal to SHP and with the wider Samaritan Health Services delivery system.
Our ideal candidate will have the following: Experience in education, instructional design, and/or adult education Experience with Medicare and Medicaid including rules, regulations and contracting Demonstrable experience with instructional design principles (ADDIE), training deployment Experience with multimodal content development - video, audio, computer-based learning platforms, knowledge management platforms preferred EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
Three (3) years directly related experience in a managed care/health plan/health insurance setting required.
Leadership experience required.
Experience in management principles, practices, policies, procedures and regulations as they relate to assigned program(s) required.Experience and/or training in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software, required.
