We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming, control panel design, instrumentation, and more to join our dynamic team.
As a Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects worldwide and be a key player in the success of our company.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical, Control Systems, and/or Automation Engineering
- 2 years of automation experience with direct involvement in PLC/HMI software development, configuration, testing, and implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or GE/Emerson PLC platforms
- Familiarity with various gas turbines for power generation and/or oil & gas applications
- Working understanding of UL508a and National Electric Code (NEC)
- Electrical process design and AutoCAD experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of PLC-based Control Systems
- Design AC / DC systems
- Creation, review, and approval of project deliverables
- Oversight of control panel fabrication and testing
- On-site testing and validation of system performance
- Troubleshooting of existing PLC programs
- Effective communication and collaboration with various levels within the organization
