Electrical Controls Engineer - Schematics & Panels

  • A four-year degree is a core requirement for this role as it focuses on electrical control schematic and panel design

  • 3+ years of design experience in an industrial setting is required

  • 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment is a must

  • Pay is up to $80,000, with full benefits

  • SolidWorks Electrical proficiency is highly preferred

  • Expertise in industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, and Servo controllers) is required

  • No remote work as this is an on-site position

  • Full-time, permanent, salaried W-2 position

  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

  • Located in the Brown Deer, Wisconsin area

  • Design, develop, and document electrical control systems and schematics for custom solutions using CADD software

  • Select and source appropriate electrical components, ensuring designs meet customer specifications and industry regulations

  • Provide expert internal support and knowledge to cross-functional teams, including Field Service, Manufacturing, and Sales

  • Contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise as a key member of a small project group

  • Convert verbal and written customer requirements into precise, detailed, and high-quality electrical solutions
  • The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

  • A Four-year degree in electrical engineering

  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience (SolidWorks Electrical is preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience designing schematics for electrical control panels

  • 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or heavy equipment environment

  • Knowledge of industrial controls, including PLCs, VFDs, and Servo controllers

  • Proficiency with CADD software and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on problem-solving

  • A strong work history

  • A US citizen or possess a green card
