The primary Job responsibilities of Electrical engineer include designing, developing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems for small robots and other ground-based vehicles according to customer requirements.

Applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs.

Contributes to research efforts to develop a solution or a new product.

Reports to a manager and works with Tech Lead.

Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.


Your role


Key responsibilities of electrical engineer includes: 
•Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
•Designs, tests, and determines fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products.


•Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, domestic, and industrial uses.
•Ensures that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
•Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
•Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
•Maintains regular study habits by frequently reviewing emerging technologies that improve the design, development, and testing of software programming and applications and applies technologies learned
•Provides leadership and guidance in technical area of specialization.


Your skills and experience


•Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Proficient in EDA tools
•Proficient skills with analog/digital circuit design.


•Lead DFMEA process.
•Proficient in functional safety analysis.


•Has leadership skills in coaching mentoring and guiding other engineers.


•Excellent communication skills.


•Experience with ALTIUM designer or equivalent
•Experience/understanding of circuit design.
•Experienced and proficient in the use of test tools such as Ocilloscopes, Logic analyzer, etc.
