Responsibilities
Client is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in developing and enhancing cutting-edge technologies across a wide spectrum—from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to integrated aircraft and space exploration platforms.
This role involves full lifecycle engineering, from concept and design to testing and deployment of analog and digital electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, test, and certify electrical systems and components. Create and refine analog and digital circuit card assemblies and integrated systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. Apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges. Support product development through simulation, modeling, and analysis. Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. Experience with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional design and development teams. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Typically 2+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills:
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Proficiency in Electrical Load Analysis (ELA), circuit modeling, and simulation. Familiarity with High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Indirect Effects of Lightning (IEL) design requirements. Knowledge of Electro Magnetic Effects (EME), including EMC and EMI. Hands-on experience in analog/digital circuit design and schematic capture. Understanding of PCB layout processes and tools; Zuken tool experience preferred. Exposure to model-based design and system-level simulations. Working Conditions
Physical: Frequent walking, sitting, standing, stair climbing, and repetitive hand/arm motions. Lifting: Rarely required to lift or carry up to 20 lbs. Environment: Rare exposure to outdoor elements, hazardous materials, or loud noises. Education Requirements
Required: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications in electrical engineering or aerospace systems.
