Urgent! Electrical Engineering Intern - The Toro Company Job Opening In Bloomington – Now Hiring The Toro Company

Our company designs and manufactures turf maintenance equipment; turf irrigation systems; landscape and lighting products; snow and ice management solutions; agricultural irrigation systems; rental, specialty and underground construction equipment; and residential turf and snow equipment.
We market and sell TTC products worldwide through a network of distributors, dealers, mass retailers, hardware retailers, equipment rental center and home centers—as well as online direct to end users.
The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026.
Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for completing a small electronic circuit board project during the course of the summer.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
+ Create a specification for the product.
+ Schematic capture and circuit design.
+ PCB layout with the help of one of Toro’s PCB designers.
+ Testing the finished product in the lab using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
The work will be guided by other electrical engineers to provide mentoring and keep the project on task.
Other summer activities will include some job shadowing, possibly a vendor visit or trip to Toro manufacturing plant(s) ,and depending upon the candidate, some scripting in Python or similar language.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
+ Majoring in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
+ Preferred candidates will have completed junior-level courses.
+ Strong desire to learn, collaborate, and effectively communicate in a team setting while achieving a common goal.
+ Ability to stay organized and able to use Microsoft Office programs without much direction.
+ Bonus skills include: Analog circuit design, digital circuit design, ARM microcontrollers, PCB design, C programming, Python or similar Scripting Language.

· Competitive Pay – anticipated pay $ 22.00-$33.00 per hour.
