Electrical Project Manager

Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry.

We have been retained by a local electrical contractor in the area to find an Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects from start to finish
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance
  • Monitor job progress and provide leadership to field personnel
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain efficiency and profitability
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of electrical project management experience with an electrical contractor
  • Proven track record managing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project scheduling
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • Stable work history
  • Proficiency with project management software is a plus
