Job details The Electrical Testing Technician will set up, operate and maintain a variety of test equipment to perform electrical, electronic and mechanical tests on a variety of control equipment.

1st: $26.50
2nd: $28.50
Weekend: $29.44
Responsibilities:
Test equipment, ensure it meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements.
Constantly evolve in product and process knowledge; may require additional classroom work or assigned reading.
Interact heavily with customers on witness tests.
Record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability.
Follow procedures with accurately, efficiently and with strict attention to details.
Troubleshoot various problems that could occur during course of test; requires Tester to think critically to solve problems.
Continuously improve work environment processes; may require Tester to develop test setups and new procedures when current procedures are inadequate.
Troubleshoot and repair warranty and non-warranty problems.
Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise.
Must be able to work flexible hours; including overtime and weekends
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Previous work experience troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical problems.
Strong knowledge of the following electrical concepts: Basic Electricity, Motors and Controls, PLC Programming and Fundamentals AC/DC.
Specialized Equipment: Experience with specific types of equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with specialized software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings to engineers and management.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to resolve complex technical issues independently.

Associate
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics from an accredited institution.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and components.
Ability to use various testing tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers) to identify and fix problems.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics to understand system layouts.
Meticulous documentation of test results, maintenance activities, and equipment status.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
