Job Overview
As an Electrical Testing Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical power systems and related equipment within a laboratory testing environment.
This role focuses on detailed analytical tasks and testing of protective relaying equipment, electrical panels, and other electrical devices and equipment installed in an equipment enclosure.

A Day In The Life
+ Verify proper component installation and connection per electrical drawings
+ Perform continuity checks of panels and electrical equipment using an Ohm Meter, wiring diagrams, and schematics, effectively troubleshooting when needed to ensure proper wiring
+ Perform megger testing or other Customer-required validations
+ Utilize testing equipment and power supplies to energize basic electrical equipment, including lights, HVACs, and inverters, protecting against improper wiring or design that would cause damage to equipment
+ Perform final quality and torque processes to ensure product completion and integrity
+ Assist engineering in the correction of wiring diagrams and schematic drawings in order to meet Customer design requirements
+ Work safely in and around energized electrical equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and standards
What will help you thrive in this role?
+ High School Diploma, or equivalent
+ Preferred three years of experience in panel or enclosure wiring
+ Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
+ Familiarity with using a multimeter for power and continuity testing
+ Basic troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively
+ Good written and verbal communication skills
+ Able to work accurately under short deadlines
+ Basic experience with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel
