Job Overview
Rig AC and Electric is seeking a self-reliant and technically skilled Electrical/Controls Technician to support our industrial operations.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and brings deep expertise in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
You'll be working on-site across industrial environments, applying your knowledge of control systems, schematics, and electrical safety to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities-
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs in industrial environments.-
Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, amp meters, process meters, and oscilloscopes.-
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to diagnose issues.-
Calculate ampacity and ensure load capacities comply with electrical codes.-
Install, calibrate, and maintain control systems and electrical components.-
Adapt to evolving project requirements and execute tasks independently.-
Maintain accurate records of work performed, issues identified, and repairs completed.-
Operate company vehicles safely to and from job sites.
(The technician does get a choice on if they'd like to drive their own vehicle or a company vehicle)-
Follow written and verbal instructions while maintaining efficiency and precision under pressure.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and control systems (industrial setting preferred).-
Strong foundation in electrical theory and control logic.-
Skilled in reading and interpreting schematics and technical diagrams.-
Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for electrical and control systems.-
Demonstrated ability to calculate electrical loads safely and accurately.-
Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.-
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).-
No specific certifications or formal education required-practical skills and experience matter most.

Typical schedule will be as follows: work 14 days on / 14 days off and during their days on, they will be on 24 hour call)
