Armored Automotive Technician|Automotive Painter
6-month Contract-to-Hire
100% Onsite – Columbus, OH
Hours: Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am (2nd Shift)
Brooksource’s Public Sector partner is seeking to hire several junior or entry-level candidates with a hobby or interest in working with vehicles to work as Armored Automotive Technicians for our client’s automotive group supporting government operations overseas.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking a long-term career in a mechanical role with little to no previous automotive experience required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·Disassemble and/or install new mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
·Follow standard procedures to assemble products and maintain a safe working environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
·Prior military service highly preferred, all MOS considered.
·High School diploma, clear background check and drug screening (including marijuana) required.
·Experience (paid or unpaid) with automotives, heavy machinery or other equipment that contains a motor.
·Automotive Painter candidates need certifications or demonstratable experience and are eligible for a higher pay rate.
·Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift in repetitive motions.
