Job Description
We have immediate openings for Electronics Assemblers/Technicians with mechanical skills to build and repair components of instrumentation systems.
This is a full-time position.
As a technician at Mesotech, you will receive training in electro-mechanical assembly, system integration, and troubleshooting.
You will gain experience in production/manufacturing, troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and understand assembly drawings, bills of materials, and assembly instructions
- Build, repair, and test meteorological instrumentation systems and components
- Use hand tools to assemble electronics enclosures including cable assemblies, circuit boards, etc.
- Perform circuit board testing and re-work
- Other electronic/electrical and mechanical assembly work involved in the production and repair of meteorological measurement systems
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Basic electronics education or equivalent experience in a production environment
- Able to read and comprehend assembly instructions, diagrams, and drawings
- Competent with hand tools and electronic assembly tools (screwdrivers, wire strippers, soldering irons, etc.)
- Able to pass thorough background check by US Department of Defense
- This position requires access to ITAR restricted information (must be a US Person).
Preferred:
- AS in Mechatronics or related field
