We're seeking an Entry-Level Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering team and help design innovative electronic solutions that drive product performance and quality.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic circuits and systems used in signage.

This in-office role is based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, implement, and test electronic circuits and firmware for signage, LED lighting, and related products.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
  • Assist in evaluating field returns, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to product improvements.
  • Support product requirement documentation and customer-facing product materials.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Manufacturing, and Service teams to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Learn and apply embedded systems fundamentals, serial communication protocols, and design-for-manufacturing principles.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design, circuit prototyping, and soldering (through-hole and SMD).
  • Familiarity with C or C# programming; knowledge of embedded firmware development a plus.
  • Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP) and serial communication (UART, SPI, I2C).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
