As an Executive Director - Employee Experience Editorwithin Firmwide and Internal Corporate Communications, you will lead the content strategy, coordination and execution for our digital Channels (incl.
web/app/multimedia/virtual agents) on a firmwide basis.
Our Channels are transforming and the value proposition of each is changing, evolving from primarily being leveraged as communications platforms to a future where employees have one place to go to Take Action, Get Help and Discover in an omni-channel way.
You will be a leader responsible for ensuring we engage our employees with a variety of high-quality content types that align with our brand values and our diverse employee base.
This content will encompass corporate communications, brand and product marketing, notifications, alerts, nudges and clear & precise call-to-actions, just to name a few.
You role will oversee how we target our employees with communications, campaigns and curated content by partnering with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee that the quality of all content, including articles, features, and multimedia, meets content standards and deadlines and appropriate channel usage.
Oversee content development as directed such as Notifications, Nudges, Tooltips, Product Marketing
* Manage the Firmwide and Internal Corporate Communications content calendar ensuring all content is reflected in a singular view.
Partner with Employee Experience to ensure alignment with the editorial calendar and new tools.
This role will be responsible for ensuring content that is timely and relevant, and sequenced in a strategic manner, including liaising across Lines of Business to maximize efficiencies and engagement.
* Ensureall channels adhere to content standards, while also empowered to remove content that does not adhere correctly (EX Kit).
* Manage the relationship with LOB site owners and ensure Channels is delivering for their content needs, as well as ensuring strong connectivity between site owners.
* Leverage digital analytics and analyze audience feedback to refine content strategies and improve reader satisfaction.
* Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep content relevant and engaging.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* 10+ years of editorial experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
* Ability to think creatively and develop innovative communication strategies and campaigns.
Basic understanding of visual design principles to collaborate effectively with designers and video/multimedia producers.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive information.
* Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
* Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all communications are accurate and error-free.
Maintain consistency in messaging and branding across all channels.
* Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes.
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in direction
* Experience in a large corporate environment or financial services industry.
