Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) - Endo/GI Lab

Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093

Work hours: Full Time/Days 4/10 Hour Days; Variable Shifts; Call required

Endo/GI Lab Department Highlights:

Here's What You Need:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent required

* Other - CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required

* 1year of GI clinical experience required

* ERCP experience preferred

* BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

* A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do:

* Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurses

* Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently

* Take action to reduce or eliminate patient risk

* Documents accurately and appropriately

* Assists in admission/transfer/discharge

* In collaboration/consultation with nurses, adapts care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations

* In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, incorporates cultural/ religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care
