Job Description
This entry-level position requires the incumbent to learn, read, comprehend and perform a variety of basic manufacturing methods to support disassembly, repair and assembly of aero-derivative engines under the guidance of an experienced Engine Mechanic, Subject-Matter Expert (SME), Lead or Leader.
Actively participates in OJT by learning and applying manufacturing techniques and knowledge to support disassembly, repairing and assembly of aero-derivative engines.
Assists Engine Mechanics with preparing and visually inspecting parts, tools, reviewing sketches and technical information.
Performs basic manufacturing, disassembly and assembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines.
Work as scheduled, on time and every day.
Observe the "Three Circles" with particular focus on *** Values.
Adherence to all Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures.
All other duties assigned by Leadership.
Quals--
2ND SHIFT POSITION:
Qualifications
Technical Education in related field.
Hands on experience with gas turbine engines (preferred).
Familiar with the manufacturing principles; planning, data systems etc.
Must have High School diploma, or equivalent.
Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder per FAA requirements.
