Description:
Responsible for providing technical expertise in support of nuclear plants.
Performs advanced engineering tasks or other special projects requiring original concepts and a high level of experience and expertise necessary for the operation of the nuclear units.
Works independently, performs engineering tasks with little or no precedence, acts as a consultant to supervision.
Ability to apply nuclear industry standards and regulations for new situations.
Has management skills for facilitation of team actions for problem solving including conflict resolution to assure progress.
Provides backup for supervision.
Requires Bachelors of Science in Engineering.
PE preferred and may substitute for degree.
Twelve () or more years of engineering or related experience required.

Additional Job Details This position is for a Capital Projects Electrical Engineer which will be located at our Jupiter West Corporate office.
Engineers in this role provide technical interface with engineering firms on project developments and prepare/review engineering documents using the applicable industry and regulatory standards.
Candidates should be knowledgeable with respect to the applicable industry and nuclear standards, the industry standard design
process, and Experience with ladder logic, analog/digital systems, NSCA/safe shutdown analysis, power systems analysis as well as computational tools such as ETAP, EDISON, etc.
is preferred but not required.
Prior experience as a cognizant engineer/ engineering project management is also preferred but not required.
Will Per Diem and Mob/De-Mob expense types be available for this requisition?
Yes If Per Diem is available, please indicate the maximum amount: gsa If Nuclear Business Unit: On-Boarding Note Nuclear workers requiring unescorted badge access will follow onsite in-processing procedures.
All others will be required to complete Non-Nuclear pre-assignment screenings through their staffing supplier.
