The Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) team is in search an **Engineering Aide**
In this role, you will be providing technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks to include:
• Moderate peer reviews of engineering documents, drawings, and specifications
• Facilitate technical and non-technical related discussions for engineers, program managers, and stakeholders across multiple teams and locations
• Schedule meetings, maintain agendas, capture notes, and provide meeting minutes for the System Engineering team and program level meetings
• Update databases such as DOORS and Collaborator as determined by responsible engineers
• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results, engineering design changes, and requirements and verification information.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, PowerPoint slides (flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, plans, schedules)
• Review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with governing documentation and requirements
• Compile release packages ensuring all documentation is present
• Coordinate change requests and action items with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and other stakeholders
• Support coordination and logistics of formal design review meetings
• Track action items
• Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation and/or reports.

Other engineering technical support duties as needed.
**Successful candidate will typically have an associate’s degree and 1 year of professional experience,**
**OR**
**3-5 years of professional experience.**

**Basic Qualifications:**
• Associate degree in a related field and/or related work experience/technical training.

Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access - U.S. Citizenship required
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers.
• Active or Current DoD Secret Security Clearance

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
**Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off
